Volunteer Opportunities for Adults

Adults interested in volunteering at the library should please print and complete an application form and then return it to Library Director Lee Ann Amend at Lamend@ocln.org. Opportunities for Adults could be working for the Friends of the Library organization. Information about the Friends of the Sharon Public Library.   
 

Student Community Service Program

The Student Community Service program is designed for students who live in Sharon who are interested in volunteering at the Sharon Public Library to complete their community service requirements. Interested students should print and complete an application form and return it along with any community service requirement forms, to the following:

  • Ages 12 to 17: Please contact Head of Youth Services Librarian Jessica Henderson, or call (781) 784-1578 x1434
  • Age 18 or older: Please contact Library Director Lee Ann Amend at 781-784-1578 x 1425.

Please note that we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accept all requests, or to fit you into a position that you prefer; however, we will do our best.

Due to the abundance of requests by student volunteers, each student placed in a volunteer position, will serve only one time per week.
