Becoming a parent is a magical time, but it can also be stressful, isolating, and overwhelming. The Sharon community is here to help.

Join us for an innovative and comprehensive weekly program for parents with children from newborn to 5 years of age, featuring dedicated programming for both parents and their children. This initiative offers a vital space to connect with other local new parents. The psychoeducational component is grounded in the Commit to You framework, providing a supportive environment to cultivate self-compassion, navigate emotion regulation, and embrace intentional parenting. Sessions will also feature guest lectures from local health professionals on essential topics like feeding and sleep.

Each session includes:

• Themed Story Time (30 minutes): A welcome reading for parents and children to enjoy together, featuring a children’s book that directly connects to the theme of that day’s parent support group.

• Parent Support Group & Children’s Play Group (30 minutes): While children enjoy a play group with the Children’s Librarian in the activity room, parents will participate in a psychoeducational support group.

• Open Play & Socializing (1 hour): Unstructured time for families to connect, play, and build their village.

Registration is recommended so you receive email updates about the program, but walk-ins are always welcome.
