Parking at the Sharon Public Library will be limited starting Thursday, June 11, as solar panels are installed on the roof.
The project is set to start Thursday, June 11, and parking is estimated to be restricted for about four weeks.
The installation is slated to be completed in July.
Parking will be available for Library patrons in the municipal parking lot on High Street if parking is not available at the Library.
No parking is allowed on School and Pleasant Streets.
Electricity generated by the solar panels will be used to reduce the Library’s electricity bills. Savings are projected to be about $180,000 over 20 years.
